A Romantic and Adventurous Elopement on the Isle of Skye

Chelsea and Hunter made the trip half way around the world from Arkansas, USA, to elope on the magical Isle of Skye. They got in touch with me 8 months before their elopement and it was immediately obvious that I was chatting with two people who share a deep, soulful connection.

They met as teenagers, but it wasn’t until they’d both gone through their 20’s that they found each other again. They wanted a wedding experience that reflected the truth of their relationship – something adventurous, yet intimate.

Neither of them had ever been to the Isle of Skye, but Chelsea had visited Scotland several years earlier and always wanted to go. We chatted for ages about all of the incredible locations they could visit on their elopement and worked together to create a timeline packed full of adventure.

They really wanted their ceremony to be in a secluded spot, so I scouted out the perfect place the day before. Even at the height of summer, it’s possible to find a quiet spot without a soul in sight. After their ceremony, we ventured north to the Fairy Glen and then on to the world-famous Quiraing.
